1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
Cookies are small text fragments stored on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) by web servers when you load websites. Local Storage (HTML5 Web Storage) is a related browser technology allowing data to be saved natively on your machine without expiration on individual HTTP requests.
At Sortsyreeltonic, we utilize cookies and local storage to ensure smooth 3D WebGL rendering performance, retain your customized festival filter settings, and anonymously understand how attendees research Swiss festival itineraries.
2. Categories of Cookies We Utilize
Our platform categorizes cookies into three distinct operational classifications:
| Category | Purpose | Consent Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Maintains session security, load-balancing, and remembers your cookie consent choice. | Exempt (Strictly Necessary for basic platform operation) |
| Functional & Preferences | Remembers selected route origins, departure stations, audio settings, and graphic resolution. | User Consent Required via banner |
| Analytics & Performance | Measures page load speeds, WebGL FPS rates, and popular festival guide traffic without individual profiling. | User Consent Required via banner |
3. Specific Storage Matrix

sortsyreeltonic.christmas | LocalStorage | 1 Year | Stores your banner decision (Accepted / Essential Only) to prevent redundant prompts. |
